People Empowered: Clementine

“The All Womxn Project is a charity with the mission to empower and inspire women and girls and we do so by providing inspiration, online campaigns, content, safe spaces and resources.”

“Absolutely. I grew up not being confident at all, doubting myself because of what I looked like and because of my size. If I could talk to that girl now I would tell her that she should stop worrying about what others think and about what she thinks she should look like and just enjoy life as it is. I would tell her about what she’s doing when she’s older, how well she’s doing, how happy she is and how much she loves her body and the work she’s doing for other women - I think she’d be pretty pumped about it!”

“I think the fashion industry has been doing quite a lot over the past few years and is changing at a really fast pace which is great. It’s very different from 10 years ago when I first started modelling where it was really rare to see anyone different anywhere in the media. I would just like to see more consistency; it’s not about using one bigger person or one trans person or one person of colour here and there, it’s really about making sure inclusion is consistent and goes throughout campaigns and throughout the time.”

“I feel most empowered when I’m empowering other women through the work I do every day. Just making sure I help them feel better about themselves and normalising all of their bodies and all of their personas, that work really makes me feel the best and the most empowered.”
